In the Can Rich Cellar in Buscastell elaborate a delicious version of the Hierbas Ibicencas, following the traditional recipe of their ancestors.
Can Rich from Buscastell was founded in 1997, and began its viticulture activity by planting their 21 hectares with vineyard, choosing traditional varieties like the Monastrell and the Malvasía. With the aim of improving the wine elaborated in the island, other varieties have been incorporated, like the Chardonnay for the white wines or the Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Merlot and Syrah for red and rosé wines.
In addition to its wine production, Can Rich has been, for some years, elaborating the Hierbas Ibicencas (with protected designation of origin) with the traditional recipe of its ancestors, and in a short time, it has won praise from critics and customers, receiving several awards as the bronze medal in the 2011 Wine Spirit Competition in Hong Kong.
