Hierbas Ibicencas by the family Fluxà made with aniseed-flavoured liqueur, and aromatized with several herbs from the Ibizan field (500 ml bottle).

The Hierbas Ibicencas are a spirituous beverage very traditional in the Pitiuse Islands and are then protected by geographical denomination. It is a aniseed-flavoured liqueur, with extracts of the essence of several plants like fennel, thyme, rosemary, lemon verbena, lavender, rue, eucalyptus, chamomile, juniper and its berries, oregano, mint, peppermint, lemon and orange peels and leaves and sage, and it may contain also star anise or green anise.
The extraction of the plant essences to elaborate the Hierbas Ibicencas is made according to the following methods:
Distillation in copper stills over a low gas flame for 18 hours.
Maceration for 15 days in hydroalcoholic solution of 70º agricultural ethyl alcohol.
Infuse in boiling water and let it cool down.
The product obtained through the described methods is afterwards mixed to obtain a liqueur with an alcohol content between 24 and 38 % Vol.
CONSUME SUGGESTIONS: The hierbas ibicencas are typically consumed after the meals for its digestive properties and can be served with ice or alone. The hierbas of the Fluxà family have an intense aromatic plants flavour and a dense and amber texture that is softened when serving it with ice. It is presented in a delicate glass bottle. (4x27x4cm) that can be offered as a gift for clients or guests.
