The Can Fluxà natural sea salt is extracted from the Natural Reserve of Ses Salines in Ibiza, it is sun dried, grind in a stone mill to obtain a grain that combines fine and thicker sizes, what provides the salt with a pleasant texture that food can absorb with ease.
The common salt has been refined with warming processes, washings, and often with some added chemicals. This makes the salt to loose all the essential elements that make a gastronomic gem of it, with a high quantity of nutritional and medicinal benefits for health.
Instead, the sea salt Fluxà respects the product all the way during its production process and allows the salt, created naturally in the Mediterranean sea waters, to get to your table with all its properties untouched.
The MEDITERRÁNEA salt is enriched with three aromatic and digestive valuable plants. The rosemary is an aromatic plant that favours the proper functioning of the liver, is a natural antibiotic, it prevents alimentary intoxication and is rich in antioxidants. The oregano is an aromatic plant with very good digestive properties, it has active ingredients that protect the liver, help in the elimination of gases, is anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and an important natural antiseptic. The thyme is an aromatic plant rich in iron that stimulates the digestion, avoids the gases formation, is a natural respiratory antiseptic and contributes to fight pains, specially headaches and migraine.
The sea salt BARBACOA is enriched with 5 types of pepper (black pepper, green pepper, white pepper, and Jamaican pepper). The pepper is held to have vasoconstrictive properties, so it is beneficial for the varixes, the womb, the uterus, the hemorrhoids, the bladder and the hepatic problems. Thanks to its essential oils (ericoline), has antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic faculties. It is a food with an important contribution of fiber, iron, calcium, carbohydrates, magnesium, potassium, calories and vitamin E.
SUGGESTED CONSUMPTIO: Consumed moderately, the natural non-refined sea salt is a valuable source of trace elements, essential minerals like calcium, iodine, magnesium, potassium and other substances absorbed from the sea water. Besides, its flavour is more intense than the one of the common salt, so a lower quantity is needed. It is, of course, not suitable for hypertensive people.
